5 Client Mistakes That Cost Me $105,000 in Lost Fees
How to Avoid the 5 Client Mistakes That Cost Me $105,000 in Lost Fees

My name is Jason Leister. In 2007, I began my career as a freelancer… doing copywriting and marketing consulting.
It’s a date that’s easy to remember because at that time I was clueless, naive and broke.
A few months earlier, I had left Chicago for a small little town in the middle of nowhere Indiana. My wife was pursuing a new career and we relocated so she could get some training.
We gave up life in the big city to move to the casket capital of the world. That’s c-a-s-k-e-t… as in a box for a dead person. Yes, the town pretty much existed because of the casket making factory in town. I can still remember walking out the back door only to be greeted by what must have been toxic fumes from the factory.
It hardly goes without saying that there wasn’t much in the way of work to be had. Eek.
Not that I was looking for a job mind you. Years before I had been bitten by the entrepreneurial bug. I was psychologically unemployable and loving it.
I still remember the day I left my not so glamorous job as a car salesman. Well, I didn’t technically LEAVE that day, I just never showed up. And my life has never been the same since.
Before I started my own consulting business, I had never had job that paid more than $31,000 a year. After I went out on my own, I increased my income, but since I was fixing computers, my money was made in small chunks… $150 here, $500 there.
Never once did I see amounts like $5,000 walk through the door at any one time. At the time, money like that would have been like winning the lottery.
Once I started my copywriting and marketing business, however, things started to change.
I hit six-figures pretty quickly and had a great time. I’d never made that much money so quickly in my life. It is a great feeling.
Today, I find it no more difficult to sell a $10,000 project than I do a $500 one. In fact, the higher the amount, often the easier it is. I have no idea why.
I’ve learned a LOT about working with clients. In fact, it’s kind of become my specialty.
On my way to figuring out a bit about how this business works, I’ve made a ton of mistakes. Many of them have been quite expensive. On a hot summer night not too long ago, I sat down and spilled the beans for 78 straight minutes to help independent professionals just like you avoid some of the most expensive mistakes I’ve made in this business.
You can get instant access to a video recording of the event right now for only $47.
The first half of the event was me presenting and during the second half I answered a long list of questions that had been submitted. Make no mistake… had I known the things that I revealed during this event BEFORE I started my business, I would have been WAY better off.
By the end of this presentation, you’re going to be well prepared to steer clear of 5 client mistakes that have cost me at least $105,000 in lost fees.
How does it feel to lose that kind of money?
It sucks.
My goal is to save you from having to experience the same things I’ve experienced… for only $47. I would have paid a LOT more than that to save me from the trouble I went through learning all this the hard way.
